I’m Napoleon, a passionate saxophonist from Albany, GA, and the creative and artistic force behind NapoSax. Music has been a profound part of my life since the 6th grade, and it’s been a thrilling journey ever since I first fell in love with the soulful sound of the saxophone. My Musical Journey: From my early days in middle school and high school, where I played in various bands, to my time at Bethune-Cookman University, music has always been my true calling. At Bethune-Cookman, I had the honor of performing with the Marching Wildcats, Symphonic Band, and Jazz Combo, deepening my skills and passion for music. I graduated in 2018 with a degree in Music Education and a minor in Athletic Training and Nutrition. From Education to Performance: After graduation, I took my talents to Orlando, FL, where I began teaching middle school band and orchestra. However, as the world shifted due to COVID-19, I found myself pivoting into personal training. During this time, I rekindled my love for the saxophone, creating music that soon led to performing at events across Orlando and neighboring cities. A New Chapter: NapoSax: Since then, I have had the privilege of bringing joy and energy to a variety of events, including weddings, private gatherings, and corporate functions. Each performance is a unique experience designed to captivate and inspire audiences with every note. My Vision: My goal with NapoSax is to create memorable experiences through my music. I strive to connect with people on a deep level and share the beauty of the saxophone with the world.
